Access Private Git from Github Desktop

Follow the steps as stated below :

Your github web account > Click on top right corner ( i.e. your profile ) > Click on settings > Click on “ Developer Settings” > Click on “Personal Access Tokens” > Generate your token

Now go to “Windows Credential Manager” and follow the simple steps :

Click on edit.

Copy & Paste your “Token” in the password space and save it.

Now go to your Git Hub Desktop. Click “Clone” > URL > then write your git repo url in following formate :

https://<User Name>:<Access Token>@<Repo Path>
